Remembering, and forgetting.

Sometimes, having a good memory for faces and names isn’t really a good thing. You see people from times long gone, but they pass by with the look of a stranger. Not that I’ve been a very memorable character all along, but hell it still feels crappy.

Somehow, it makes me feel like I’ve lived for a very long time and watched countless people pass by in my life. Transition after transition, movement after movement. Perhaps that’s what life’s about eh? Countless threads interacting with each other at different moments of time, never to meet again thereafter.

所谓缘份已尽?

It makes me wonder just exactly how many of these people in my memories remember me in turn; talk about footprints that have long been washed away by the tides of time.

Thoughts like this make me conclude that memory loss is a good thing after all.
